two love operators have a conversation using tin can string technology. Created in 24 hours in collaboration with Millicent Villacastin.
Awakening is a 2D animated short in which a robot girl awakens to her own consciousness in a style evocative of classic shoujo and magical girl anime and manga, which are longstanding inspirations of mine. This short is a small portion of a broader narrative in which the two characters reside, which I intend to revisit and explore themes of cyborg and posthuman existence from a queer lens.
